As i promised to you all my beloved readers that i will be updating this blog by today. Let's begin with my today activity. This morning i woke up around 6am, quite early since i slept early last night but once i get off from bed, i'm starting to have this painful headec but i'm trying to get through it, don't want to layan the headec that much, so i just went to the bathroom and took a short shower but once i got off from the bath room, the pain was too much. Right after that, i went looking for my mom to tell her that i couldn't drive to school for today. Luckily she understood me and had asked my sister to send me off to the college. Thanks Kak Hjh for sending me earlier. Though i have this crazy headec but i'm still going to study, i can't miss this revision week, it's too important, don't want to miss it. Hahaha, see, how committed i'am towards my studies and carrier.
Right after she dropped me at the college, i went straight to the lecture room a bit late since my sister antar aku around 7.45am, this morning. I ran to the lecture room, just to make sure that i'm not missing any session, turns out that i didn't miss any session. Thank God. It was so sunyi tadi even though it was already late, i don't know why but everybody turn out to be late today including the tutors. It was strange but hell with it. We had one lecture around 8.30am this morning inside our lecture room, learning all about Dressing and Sutures Removal and it's Medical procedure. I sat together with the guys, Daniel, Basil, Haziq, Ebee, Syed, Uncle and Zul. It was fun sitting down with them although i don't really know them very well, don't you think it's a bit crazy that we've been a classmate for a year now but still we don't really know the other people inside the classroom besides their names and where they are originally from. I guess being an Medical student doesn't have time to make friends if you want to be on top of your game.
The morning session ended around 9.30am, we've got an extra time and thankfully our beloved tutor Cikgu Liew Moi dismiss us early so that we can have our tea break a bit longer than the other students.. yay us.. So all of us except some of our colleague went to the cafeteria, suddenly one of our colleage said that she's going to belanja all of us makan nasi and she did. Thanks Maida. We all sat together, combining all nearby tables into one, the table was so damn long and all of us sat and enjoy each other. It was fun earlier to have your friends being there with you, not think of all the studies, just talk and cracking jokes, releasing tension due the coming examination. wah, it was so damn fun. I wish that we could do it again sometime.
When i was in the library, i saw this old friend of mine but unfortunately i don't want to be so close with this old friend of mine, i have some reason not to, but i just going to keet it to my self. Sorry, personal stuff. I went back to the skill lab to join the others around 2pm but before that, i bumped into Nana, she was really nice to me, actually she belanja ku lunch tadi.. again thanks Nana. While we borak-borak at the cafeteria, Hasdy walked in and sat with us, expressing his depression on his personal life, we can't help but lisent to his problems and try to advice him to deal with his problems and move on with his life. Again this old friend of mine, walked in to the cafeteria and talked with Hasdy and Nana, he didn't talked to me since i think he kinda knew that i'm ignoreing him but enough abt him. I went back to the skill lab and began my self practise early than everybody else since i was planing to leave early.. and i did leave the college early around 3pm. While i was waiting for my sister to fetch up me, i saw Mizan and Khaliq inside the library doing their self revision, oh boy, they are stress. They have to do their internship as well their revision at the same time, gosh, i hope they can handle it, its too much for me, they should have been given more time to study.. Wish u guys good luck on your mid term theory exam guys.
What did i do yesterday?
Yesterday wasn't that much interesting, nothing much going on expect we've got to do a revision on Charting, first we were so confident that we're going to pass this skill easily since Charting isn't so difficult, sekalinya our tutor Cikgu Liew Moi set up a test for us by providing a senario for us to solve and make a proper medical chat for a patient and we're all were just, "alah senang ni, nada kan nda pass", but guess what, all of us FAIL, capi!, luan confident wah, nah fail pulang jadinya.. see? how over confident could destroy you.. next time, just be confident but never be over confident.
That afternoon, we've learn about DRUG Administration where we've got to prepare and give medication to the patient but passing the particular procedue isn't easy since you really have to remember the 10 PRINCIPLE of giving medication. This particular procedure is very STRICK since it is dealing with the life and death situation of a patient. One mistake and you're fail, even if it is just a small error. In this procedure there no mistake allow unlike other medical procedures.
The 10 principles of giving medication are:-
Right patient
Right medication
Right Route
Right Dosage
Right Date/Time
Right Documentation
Right Assesment
Right Education
Right To Evaluate
Right To Refuse
Those are 10 of the major principles of giving medication, miss one of those, and you fail. Therefore we're gonna have to memeorise these 10 things and explain each one to the examiner verbally during the examination day nanti. Fuh, pressure ah. I went home around 4pm and went straight to bed, i just don't feel very well yesterday. I woke up around 9pm to do an update but unfortunately i can barely move, but i tried and as a result as what u see on yesterday post but i make it up to you all my readers by posting it today. Right after i finished making the notice, i went straight to bed. I was so exhausted yesterday, really exhausted.
